Music The Music Department at Hillel Academy is dedicated to the belief that all children are natural musicians and should explore and enrich their world through the wonders of music. Who knows what riches we may discover as the Hillel students find their musical voices!     In class, students will learn how to sing in harmony, read music, play orff instruments and recorders, and dance folk dances. Each month we will have fun exploring the songs of the season and of the students lives. We will also be making the most of each child's dramatic talents by performing small in-class musicals. There will be many trips to 'Broadway' as we discover the music of many of America's great musicals such as "Fiddler," "Wicked," "Oklahoma" and "Music Man."     Students will also be exploring the world of Classical Music by learning about the great composers of the world and their music. Beethoven, Bach, Copeland and Mozart are just waiting to be rediscovered by your children.     The Music Department at Hillel Academy is looking forward to performing what we have learned for you!
