CHA Observes MLK Day: After studying about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the struggles of African Americans for freedom and equality, the school erupted in dance and song. Stajez Center for the Arts dancers depicted the history of Africans to the present time. Their energy infected the school as they encouraged CHA students to join in some of the dancing. Additionally, Eliot, grade 6, and his sister Sarah, Class of 2006, accomplished dancers themselves, entertained us with their own hip-hop presentation.

In the after school enrichment program, students, parents and teachers continued the excitement, dancing under the expert tutelage of the renown dance troupe.
